Flipped is a wordless two-puppet performance that tells the story of Pino and Cleo’s strange yet tender encounter between dream and reality.
They meet, fall in love, and dance together in a weightless dream—until Pino wakes to find it all seemingly unreal.When he meets the same girl again in reality, dream and reality begin to overlap in a continuous, uncertain loop.
The piece uses sound effects and music as its primary narrative language, portraying the flow and connection of emotion within silence.
Written, directed, produced, and performed by the artist, Flipped embraces puppetry as a unique medium to visualize the moment of “falling in love” beyond words and logic.
In 2025, Flipped was invited to be presented at the UNIMA International Festival of Puppetry, showcasing its dreamlike structure, rhythmic soundscape, and poetic visual aesthetic.
